Why is that DTH monthly packs for all SD and HD channels are around Rs 500-700, and Digital cable for the same amount of channels costs Rs 350-450 ???

We have discussed it many times, msos spend on ground infrastructure and DTHs spend on ground and satellite infrastructures.

But so much difference in price ??? DTH can lower it down. We have just 400 channels that dth and cable offer. In 2020 there will be around 1000 SD channels and 200 HD channels.

Hiring one to costs crores and taxes too whereas in msos payment is not transparent and don't forget Hathaway decided to introduce packages starting from Rs.250 to rs.500

Yes, in Rs 420 package which has all SD channels. And Royal HD pack all SD and HD which costs Rs 550.

But in DTH Rs 485 is the max and has SD and HD channels, and HD fees of rs 175 makes it Rs 660

Yeah, again the price depends on the location. In one term, tax.
